A ray of bright sunlight beamed through the white curtains within Miriam's bedroom. The beam ran straight to the young woman's face, making her eyes flicker and nose twitch. The alarm clock along side the girl's bed read 9:00 A.M, it was about time she got up. However, Miriam plan as of the prior night was to sleep in. Enough was enough, and abruptly the mocha orbs flashed open, and squinted in the light. "Urgh.." she muttered to herself, rolling to the right so she was now sitting up on her bed, legs over the side. She was dressed in a pair of pink matching pjs with magenta and white hearts all over it. Miriam rubbed her eyes, and ran a hand back through her blonde and black hair. Damn sun.. she thought, and looked over at the clock as she straightened out the tank top portion of her pajamas.
Getting up from the messy bed, Miriam slowly made her way to her bedroom door, and opened it. The hallway was clear of anyone else, and it was possible that everyone in the household was still asleep. "I wonder if anyone's up." she said softly aloud to herself. The room next to her own was her cousin, Ashley's, room. He was more than likely still sleeping, getting what he called "beauty rest." For a drag queen, he was very sterotypical. The following room was her sister's room, and Miriam dared not enter it. For surely, Seffy would get mad if Miriam walked into her room without knocking. However, it was all or nothing.
Softly as she could be, and quickly, Miriam opened the bedroom door...

Seffy rolled over onto her side, she had a bad headache and was still wearing her clothes from the night before. She was wearing a skimpy electric blue dress that barley covered her up. Her once dead straight hair had now returned to it's natural wavy frizz and her make-up was practically perfect except for her mascara and eyeliner had obviously had issues and had given her panda eyes. Her room was in total darkness, she had insisted on getting navy blue curtains so that the sun stayed out. Sleep was vital to her, she didn't get anywhere near the required amounts but when she did sleep it had to be done properly.
Seffy sat up and got out of bed. She looked at the clock which read one minute past nine in the morning. She had only had four hours sleep and that defiantly implied she would be grouchy for most of the day. Seffy stretched and rubbed her tired eyes. Deciding that she would change into something a little more comfortable, Seffy opened a draw in her dresser and took out a silver top and a pair of turquoise hot pants. She placed them on her bed and began to undress.
Her door opened just after she had taken her bra off. It was her elder sister Miriam. ''Get the hell out!' Seffy screamed at her, pointing with one hand and covering up her naked chest with the other.

Miriam's eyes lit up, and quickly shut the door. She gave her sister enough time to redress, and then opend the door again. "Why must you be so.. ugh?" Miriam asked. She was the sweet one out of the Lafaye girls, she hated to fight and she wasn't even close to being a bitch. She even hated fowl language, and would ignore her family when they used it. "You look like you've had a rough night." she commented, arching an eyebrow in curiosity. Leaning up against the door frame, Miriam crossed her arms over her chest and exhaled. "You and Star go out, I assume?" she asked. Both Seffy and Star were the ones that liked to go out, Miriam did not. She prefered to stay home reading compared to clubbing all through the night. Her exterior surely said otherwise, but her whole personality was way different.

Seffy watched as her sister closed the door, she then pulled on her top and quickly changed into her hot pants. Seffy rolled her eyes as Miriam re-entered the room.''Why must you be so.. ugh?" Was that not obvious? Seffy had a policy when it came to people in her room, they must always knock and wait to be called in. Her sister had clearly not done that so thats why Seffy had gotten mad. She smirked at her next comment.''No shit sherlock.'' She said knowing that Miriam disagreed with the use of swearing. Seffy sat back down on her bed and licked her lips wondering what her sister actually wanted.
"You and Star go out, I assume?" Seffy shook her head, she had gone out but Star had gone off somewhere with a bunch of American guys. Star didn't want Seffy around so she just left her to it. The two normally went out partying together but sometimes the two year age gap posed as a problem.''Stayed at home I assume?'' She replied wincing as a shooting pain banged at her head.

No, it wab obvious that Seffy hadn't have much sleep. It was written all over her face, but there was only thing Miriam could say to that. Stay home, don't go out and actually get some rest. "Can it, shrimp." Miriam spoke firmly. She got along with Seffy sometimes, but right now wasn't one of those. "Gosh, if only I can be more like you, Seffy. A selfish, clubbing slut. Man, surely I'd have more respect than I do now because I would have belittled my self so much." It was too late, and Miriam had just blurted it out. Where those words came from was somewhere deep inside of her, and today it didn't take much for her to come out with how she felt. However, it really was uncalled for right now. "Heh, sorry. I don't know where that came from."

Seffy just laughed as her sister told her to can it. She was the sweeter one of the sisters and the eldest. Where as Seffy was the youngest and a bit of a rebel. "Gosh, if only I can be more like you, Seffy. A selfish, clubbing slut. Man, surely I'd have more respect than I do now because I would have belittled my self so much." The next comment from her sister hurt her alot, she really didn't understand Seffy at all. ''Well little miss perfect, that was rather thoughtful wasn't it and you say I'm selfish? Take a look in my mirror, or no actually don't you might break it with your bitchiness.'' Seffy replied glaring at her.
Sefyy had always been a little on the sensitive side, she was just insecure and just wanted to be loved not yelled at or critisised.''Whatever.'' Seffy whispered and got up off her bed to open her curtains. As she did so a huge ray of sunlight entered the room immediately brightening it. up.

"Who says I'm perfect? You don't know me at all, do you? You think just because I don't do things like you or Star that I'm perfect? Pfft." Miriam rolled her eyes and sighed. "And I'm not a bitch, though perhaps your provok me into saying such things." Maybe neither of them knew each other. After all, they were both highly different from the other, and it wasn't like they made sure they spent time together as sisters, as family. Equally, Seffy's words had gone straight to Miriam's heart, and she could have started to cry. However, she knew better than to show a hopelessly weak side in front of her sisters. Actually, it went for the whole family.
"Wow, you know. You're room actually looks a lot better when sunlight can come in. I never could see the pretty colors in here with it being so dark." she commented, trying to lighten the air. Alas, Miriam didn't think she could.

Seffy spun around and glared at her sister, what she had said really was uncalled for. "And I'm not a bitch, though perhaps your provok me into saying such things." Seffy clenched her fists tight to stop herself from hitting Miriam. She had a very bad temper and when provoked could cause havok.''Whatever Mum, go back to your dictonary.'' Seffy said with a growl.
Seffy turned away from Miriam, her lip was wobbling as she tried to fight back the tears that were filling her eyes. She hated arguing with her family. Sure if it was anyone else she would rise up to the challenge. "Wow, you know. You're room actually looks a lot better when sunlight can come in. I never could see the pretty colors in here with it being so dark. She could tell Miriam was lying, Seffy's room was just cream and covered with pictures that she cut out of magazines. Still Seffy didn't say anything, she picked up her purse and riffled through it looking for her phone.

Miriam shut up, and didn't reply back when Seffy told her to go back to her dictionary. Instead she sighed, and shook her head. What they fought over was ridiculous most of the time. "I really do mean it." Miriam said, trying to sound as sincere as she could. She thought maybe Seffy thought she was lying, but that wasn't the case. This time around, she wasn't lying. "Your phone is over there." she said, pointing to an end table along side of the bed. "Just a good guess." she stated for knowing Seffy was looking for her phone.

''Your phone is over there." Her sister told her whilst pointing to the end table by her bed. Seffy grabbed her phone and looked at it. She noticed her battery was low and that she had two new text messages. She opened the draw and looked for her charger. That draw contained alot of stuff in it, mainly make up but it also had a silver packet which itself contained a few intresting things. She shut the draw and plugged the charger into the wall along with her phone.
''Thank you.'' She said and turned back to face her sister.

"No problem." Miriam said, and then a long silence fell over the two. "Umm.." Miriam started after awhile. She really wasn't sure on what to say, but she knew one thing, she was getting hungry. Her stomach growled at her, and Miriam placed a hand over top of where it had gurgled. "You want to go get something to eat?" she asked her sister, trying to be nice and include her in her mission to find food. "I think Rosario left some leftover pizza downstairs." Their manor maid, Rosario, was like a second mother to Miriam. She loved that old woman to death, and respected her even if Ashley, their aunt and own mother treated her like a wetback servant.

"You want to go get something to eat?" Seffy shook her head, she wasn't in the mood for eating. She didn't eat much at all really. Seffy looked at her phone, the first message was from her sister telling her that she wouldn't be home till tomorrow and the second message was from a number she didn't recognize. It was a blank message except for a :) at the end. Seffy frowned at quickly replied asking who it was. ''You want pizza for breakfast?'' She asked and chuckled. Seffy supposed she could at least have a drink, her sister was obviously trying to make an effort with her.

"What's wrong with eating pizza for breakfast?" Miriam asked, wondering if it really did sound that weird. Didn't she just see Seffy eat spaghetti the other day for breakfast? Or was she loosing her mind? Whether or not she did, Miriam was sure she wasn't the only person within the household that ate odd things for breakfast or any other meal of the day. "Do you want some or not? You look like skin and bones. Do you ever eat?"

Seffy did think her sister had really strange eating habits, but so did Seffy. The only thing that she would eat in the morning was cucumber and tomato ketchup. But Seffy wasn't really hungry at the moment."Do you want some or not? You look like skin and bones. Do you ever eat?" ''Ofcourse I eat, just not that often. I can't keep my figure looking perfect if I eat whatever I want.'' She replied a little agitated that the subject of food had been brought up. Seffy wasn't anorexic but if she ate something really fatty she wouldn't eat anything for the next day just to make sure she had burnt it off.

"So you're admitting to having an eating disorder?" Miriam asked her. She knew for a fact that with Seffy's fast matabilizim, that she would be able to eat anything and maintain her figure. "Ever heard of fast matabilizim or exercise?" she asked another question. Miriam thought her sister was weird, but this was.. well, she wasn't sure. Almost scary? Not eating didn't allow your body to grow like it needed to. However, bitching that to Seffy would just make her sister call her more of a nerd than what she already does. Miriam sighed. "Nevermind, just c'mon." she said, and motioned with her hand for Seffy to follow her into the kitchen.
