Human :: A human is simply a human. They have no special supernatural powers or abilities. However, some do not know of the supernatural world and some do. It all depends whether or not they were raised around it. Humans are special , even if more common of a race than others.
Veela :: Veelas are highly uncommon in and around Berlin. They appear as a human, but have the ability to attract like a vampire. However, they do not have fangs, nor undead. Most that you find are blond or light haired, but there are exceptions.
Vampire :: There are so many different kinds of vampires, but only two things have remained the same: cold to the touch and blood-lusting. A vampire just wouldn't be a vampire without the lust for crimson liquid. However, some feast on animals instead of humans, but there are still those they can't fight the humans off their mind. None require any sleep or actually food, though some do just for shits and giggles.
Traditional - A traditional vampire is nocturnal and cannot go out during the day time. If they do they will burn into ashes from the sunlight. The only other way to kill them is to stake them in the heart. These vampire also have the fangs that they can unsheath and resheath.
Daywalker - A daywalker as the ability to go out into the sunlight, and are as well nocturnal. They have urges to drink blood just like any other vampire, but have syrums they inject to kill the cravings. Most daywalkers do not like other vampires outside of their own kind.
Twilight - According to Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, the vampires are like daywalkers. They can go out into sunlight, but they will sparkle in it. Some read minds, some see the future or some can change emotions. The only way to kill a twilight vampire is to rip off their head and burn the body.
Werewolf :: There are only two types of lycan. One being the traditional werewolf and the other being the lou garou. The traditional werewolf is any human bitten by another werewolf and they only transform during the full moon. Then there is the lou garou, which are like shapeshifters. They have the ability to shift in and out of wolf form as they please, but they most still in form during a full moon night. They love meat, and have incredible speed and reflexes.
Shapeshifter :: Shapeshifters are like werewolves, except that they weren't bitten and they can transform whenever they wish. More commonly, you'll find shifters that shift into some kind of animal form, however, they are some that can form into other objects or into nothing. Shifter have no other abilities except for their shifting.
Mermaid/Merman :: Like a traditional mermaid, they have the lower half of a fish and an upper half of a human. They have the ability to breathe in and above water. Some have the power to form legs and loose the tail on their own, some need a spell. Whenever they hit water, their fish tail will return.
Wizard/Witch :: A witch or wizard is like a human. They look like humans, act like humans - everything humanly possible. However, what makes them unique is their magic. Whether they use a wand or have mastered hand technique, saying a spell can get them what they want or stop something from happening. All in all, if there's no spell said, no magic will happen. This does not include ordinary human who practice Wicca.
Fairy/Pixie :: Fairies and pixies are technically the same thing, except that fairies are much more nicer than pixies. Pixies love to prank on people. Every fairy or pixie has the ability to manifest into human size, without their wings if they choose. However, most of the time they remain tiny. They also have the ability to use elemental magic without using wands. Neither have more than one power, but it is rare to see one with two.
TYPES: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, Dark, Tinker (or Metal), Garden, Animal
Elemental :: Elementals are like the human sized form of a fairy or pixie, but without the wings and pranks. They all have powers based on one single element and need to have their element around them in order to use their powers. None are invincible. For example, if a fire elemental got near water it would kill him if he took in too much.
