Indigo sighed heavily as she walked on the little stone path that lead to her cafe. The sound of heels was heard as she walked swiftly. Opening the door her little St. Bernard bolted right in to the shop. She giggled and turned over the sign to open and shut the door. Opening a few curtains to let some sunlight in. But it wasn't sunny out today. It was actually rather gloomy."Oh I hope it doesn't rain" she mumbled to herself as she walked behind the counter and got the coffee going.
Her attire was a short brown tightly woven sweater dress with no color and three dark brown buttons with two buttons undone. She wore dark blue skinny jeans under neath it and light tan moccasin boots over her jeans that stopped just below her knee. Her hair was up in a high bump ponytail. Her sea green eyes stood out from behind thick brown mascara covered eyelashes and eyeliner. A few old gold rings adorned her long fingers as a light tan leather belt hugged her middle. Her eyes gazed up as she heard someone come in. She looked down at her dog whom was laying in his bed and he looked back up at her. She smiled and patted his head before standing back up. "Can I help you?" she asked as she tied her black waist apron around her middle.

Lysander entered the cafe, having been taken a stroll around the lake and saw that the cafe was open. It looked as if it had just opened at that, he seemed to be the only customer within the building. He smirked to himself, and sighed as he inhaled the scent of freshly brewing coffee. Running a hand back through his spikey blonde locks, he walked to the counter, but didn't see anyone.
He was dressed in a pair of stonewashed jeans, with ripped at the knees. A navy blue long sleeved sweater hugged his upper half of his body, a gold cross dangled around his neck. On his feet were a pair of sterotypical white Nike running sneakers. All around, his attire was very simple.
Suddenly someone popped up from behind the counter, and Lysander just barely jumped. He smiled, and tried not to laugh at himself. "Hello." he greeted the lovely blonde. His eyes were friendly, and she casually read everything she had to offer. "Wow. You have a lot to choose from. Uh, what would you recommend?"

Indigo giggled gently and lightly nodded her head "Hello" she spoke sweetly. She lightly tapped her fingers on the counter and bit her bottom lip. "Umm" she spoke as her sea green eyes shifted from him to the menu."Well" she spoke as she tilted her head and studied him. After about a minute she finally spoke again "Vanilla chai tea with cinnamon?" she asked gently with a raised eyebrow.

Vanilla chai tea with cinnamon? he repeated her question to himself mentally. It sounded good, but he wasn't much of a tea person. However, if she recommened it, then there was no sense in not trying it. Right? "I'll take one. How much do I owe you?" he asked her, pulling his leather wallet from his back pocket to get some money out. Once he paid, he waited patiently for her to bring him his order. "So did you just open up for the day?" he asked, trying to make some small talk. After all, for the time being it was still just the two of them. Without thinking, Lysander found himself randomly tapping on the counter with his two pointer fingers. He wasn't bored, but needed to get out a random rythmn he had trapped inside of his mind. He was rather good, and all people could say was: You should hear him play the drums.

Indigo smiled sweetly and replied "Umm three dollars" she spoke gently as she turned around and began making his order, the machine became a little loud as she turned it on."Ya I did about ten minutes before you came" she spoke gently as she got out a cup for him and some cinnamon. Adding milk to the mix she let it go for a little while. "Do you play the drums?" she asked gently as she poured him his cup and sprinkled cinnamon on top of it. Snapping on the lid, because she figured he was leaving, she put a napkin around it and sat the cup infront of him. Scooping up the money from the counter she put it in the register and shut the drawer. "There ya go" she spoke gently, not really knowing what to say.

Lysander smiled as he watched her make the drink. It smelt good from what he could get a wif of, and he decided he was glad he went with asking her on what she thought was good. "Actually, I do play the drums. Do you play any insturment?" he continued with the small talk. Today's little conversations seemed to be going well, normally Lysander wasn't good with small talk. He wasn't leaving, she had caught his interest. She seemed to be a unique and incredible person. "Thanks, smells good." he said, and lifted the cup from the surface, taking a swig. "Wow. This really is good. You must sell more of this drink than anything else, hm?"

Indigo smiled sweetly and shook her head shyly. "Actually no people usually just order regular coffee" she spoke gently as she gave him a small smile. Just then the soft sound of rain on the window was heard. she gave a light sigh as she walked around and sat on a stool. "No I don't..I paint" she spoke gently as she put her hands in her lap.

"What do you paint?" he asked, intrigued. He smiled brightly and handsomely, and sipped yet again at his tea. "Are your painting well known to the area or?" he asked, curious. He loved all kinds of things. He was artistic, athletic, everything. He enjoyed talking about painting or music as much as running or playing football. He was an all-around man's man. However, he wasn't big into drinking alcohol or any of that crap. "I'm Lysander." he said, sticking his hand out to shake.

"Well I paint anything..abstract..landscapes " she spoke with a light shrug. When he asked if she was well known she shook her head."Umm no I do sell them here as well though but sometimes I give them away as gifts or keep them for myself" she spoke with a pretty smile. When he smiled her breath caught for a second. "Oh pleasure I'm Indigo" it took her a minute to reply as she took his hand and shook it gently.

" I would love to see some of your work." he said, and smirked yet again. " Pleasure to meet you Indigo." He shook her hand, and then lightly let it go. His hand went back through his spikey hair, and then rested lifelessly on the counter top. " That's a very unique and pretty name you have. I think you're the first Indigo I've met." ((okay, it's short and pathetic.. i know. ))

She giggled gently and put her hands in her lap."Why thank you I like your name too" she spoke gently as her eyes looked him over."Well good so my name will be easy to remember" she spoke with another pretty smile.

Lysander smirked, "Thanks and you're welcome." He finished the rest of his tea, and began to play a little bit of hand soccer with it across the counter top. "It will be very easy to remember. Actually, it's the only person's name I probably will be able to remember." It was the truth, whether it all made sense or not. Indigo was a highly uncommon name, who wouldn't be able to remember it? "How long do you stay open til?" he asked her.

Indigo smiled sweetly and watched as his hands moved back and forth."Oh I feel honored" she spoke with a smile as she gazed shyly down. She bit her bottom lip as she thought for a minute "Um five" she spoke gently as she nodded, knowing that was it. She didn't really think about why he asked the question.

Lysander smiled, and gently shook his head. She was cut, even if she was shy. Normally, Lysander didn't like girls that were shy. He liked the ones that were laidback, maybe sometimes were spunky, marched to their own beat. However, there was something about this girl that he really liked. It wasn't just her looks, her whole personality that he'd seen so far he loved. He ashamed a bit to admit that he was starting to crush on her. Only ashamed because he had just met Indigo and it was clear that they knew nothing about each other. He nodded his head, "Ah, I see. I only ask because..." He stopped, and bit his bottom lip. "Maybe you'd like to... Get some dinner with me tonight?" he asked her.
