Evy nodded as Ravyn repeated her words, and she felt her cheeks heating up. I hope she doesn't remember that. she thought as Ravyn said she would have to try and remember what Evangeline had said. She smirked, and magically dried Ravyn off before she hopped back into her clothes. "I like that top. Can I borrow it sometime?" she asked, smiling. She watched as her companion shifted into her dog form, and Evy smirked even wider. She was beautiful in both forms, but Evy prefered her human form over all. An actual body she could snuggle up to at night, someone to hold her, caress her - STOP! Evy, shut the hell up! With that mental note in tune, Evy started off toward her home.
It took longer to get there since Evy didn't shift into her actual fairy form, and walked on legs instead of flew. When they got to her home, Evy sighed. Her mother's car was gone, so that meant either both parents were gone or just her mother. "I hope both of them are gone." she stated, and hesitated to go inside.

Ravyn followed Evy to her house, thinking all the way. That was one other thing this form was good for. She kept her eyes on Evy all the way just wondering how it would be if they could actually be together. If she were hers, that would just be too good to be true right. If she actually loved her back ?
Once they were close to Evy’s house she changed back to her human form. “Yeah same.” She said, she wasn’t in the mood to fight really. She took hold of Evy’s hand and opened the door walking inside with her. She kept holding Evy’s hand, walking to where she knew her room was. Until now they hadn’t come across anyone, so that was good.

Evy didn't have the time to think about Ravyn holding her hands, her mind was set on hoping not to find her parents home. Therefore, it didn't even register to her that her hand was being held until they were in the house and the coast was clear. Her mind began to whirl, and she gently let go of Ravyn's hand before lightly giggling nervously. "Umm, c'mon. There's alot that I have upstairs in my room that I want to bring with me."
The most important thing she wanted to bring was her picture frame that held a picture of her and her grandfather, Redd, with her just before he passed away. He was the only one that actually loved Evy for everything she was, and he was her savior from her parents. Now that he was gone, she really didn't have a savior anymore. Maybe, just maybe, Ravyn could turn out to be that someone now? After all, so far she was doing a great job.

Ravyn blushed as Evy let go of her hand, wondering what she was thinking. God how much she wanted the power of mind reading, to see what was going on in that beautiful head of her. She took a deep breath and grabbed a bag that way lying at the side the room. “Here.” She said handing the bag to Evy.
She looked out the window as she heard a car pull up. “Aaw that’s just great..” She muttered as she saw Evy’s parents. “We need to hurry.” She said to Evy. She opened Evy’s closet and started putting her clothes in another bag she had found. She quickly closed it and looked at her again, “Ready to leave.” She said.

Evy took the bag that Ravyn handed to her, and she smiled, "Thanks." With that she began to stuff items that she held dear to her heart. Like the photograph, a blanket that she'd had since she was little and a raggedy teddy bear oh which she named Suzy when she was just five. She watched as Ravyn began to help her out with packing, and it made her smile. The sound of a car pulling up with the sound she dreaded the most. "Super.." she said, her tone full of sarcasm. "Yeah, let's go. I can always sneak back when they are gone to get more stuff." With those words said, Evy zipped up the bag she had, and tossed it over her shoulder.
Descending the stairs felt like it took forever, but unfortunately, at the end of them she met her non-sober father. Her high mother was stumbling into the house, and it was obvious she had been drinking too now. "Where are you going, Giada?" her father questioned. Her parents had always called her by her middle name, but Evy never knew why. She liked her name and didn't really care what people decided to call her. "I'm leaving and going to stay with Ravyn for a little while." she said.
"No. No, you're not." he said, and softly growled under his breath at the blonde. "She is not going with you!" He reached out, and swung Evy off of the stairs and behind him. His hand had a tight grasp around Evy's wrist. "Ow! Dad, let go of me!" she pleaded, knowing there was going to be a bruise there later on.

Ravyn followed Evy out of the room and down the stairs. She watched the scene play out in front of her and growled at Evy’s dad. “Let go of her.” She said furious. She started to shake and balled her hands into fists, trying to keep control. She wouldn’t change unless it was really necessary.
“I mean it.” She said, yet another growl escaping her lips. She kept shaking harder and seconds later a dog was in her place. She crouched down baring her teeth at the guy, ready to attack him. He’d better not mess with her right now.
She stepped forward a few steps, not taking her eyes of Evy's dad for one single second. If he really wanted to play it this way, Ravyn was willing too. Ravyn would want nothing more than to hurt him for all he had done to Evy so far.

Her father's biggest fear was dogs, and as soon as Ravyn changed, he'd managed to ligthen his grip on her. Evy slipped away, and ran passed her mother. "RJ!" she called after her friend. The sooner they got away from this place, the better. Plus, in the morning, it will be like this whole incident never happened. Which would be a good thing for Evy if she wanted to come back. Not that she would, but there was a lot of things still left in her bedroom she wanted to get out. Like her white and black guitar.

Ravyn jumped forward and bit Evy’s father hard. She noticed he had let go of Evy and ran after her out of the house. She changed back quickly and looked at Evy, “are you ok ? Did he hurt you badly ?” She frowned at the idea of Evy being hurt. She didn’t like it, at all.
She took a deep breath and slowed down to a walking pace, catching her breath a bit. She crossed her arms over her chest before she did something she might regret later, like put an arm around Evy’s waist, she should try really. She wanted too, but the fear that Evy would freak out was just too big.

Evy nodded her head up and down, "I'm ok. Though I think he's left a bruise on my wrist." The bruised wrist was nothing compared to other things that her father had done to her. She was glad he hadn't done something more drastic. "Are you alright?" she asked, hoping that her father hadn't hit her when she heard Ravyn crunch down on her father's hand. "He didn't hit you for biting him, did he?" She wanted to just hug Ravyn, hold her, do something. However, Evy didn't move. The fear that Ravyn wouldn't like it ran through her head over and over again. "Let's go, yeah? This is kind of getting heavy."

Ravyn took hold of Evy’s wrist and looked it over. She was kind of relieved it wasn’t worse. She smirked at Evy’s next question, “I’m fine.” She said, not going into details. Evy’s dad had hit her on the head, but that didn’t matter. The only thing that mattered was that Evy was okay. She would be getting a bruise above her left eye though.
“It doesn’t matter.” She said avoiding Evy’s question. She started walking a bit faster nodding, she didn’t know how much longer she could take this lying. Perhaps she could tell her tonight or just now. She took a deep breath trying to calm down a bit. She could tell her once they were at her place perhaps. She saw her apartment come into view and after minutes opened the door walking inside, putting the stuff on the couch. “Evy, I have to tell you something.” She said really nervous.

Entering the familiar walls of Ravyn's apartment, Evy gave out a sigh of relief. "What's up?" she asked, wanting Ravyn to tell her what she had to say. She was rather nervous too, she wasn't sure what Ravyn was about to tell her. Maybe she had just brought her all this way to tell Evy that she couldn't stay with her? No, that wouldn't be like Ravyn. Would it? Evy mentally shook her head, and took in a deep breath. "You can tell me anything."

Ravyn chuckled nervously moving a hand through her hair. “I don’t know how to say this really..” She said down on the couch and took a deep breath. “I…I like you.” She said blushing a bit, really not knowing how she would react. She hoped Evy wouldn’t freak out. It would hurt a lot. She looked down at the floor letting her hair fall infront of her face. She wondered if she shouldn’t have said anything perhaps. But than again, if Evy said she liked her too now, that would work out great. Hell nothing would make her happier.

"I already knew that, RJ." Evy said, not catching onto the drift of what Ravyn was trying to get at. Evy smiled, and took a seat along side of her friend. "I mean, it takes two to like each other in order to be friends, right?" She lightly chuckled, and ran a hand back over top of her head, intwing a finger with a lock of dark fringe. "You just wanted to tell me something that I already knew, silly?" Evy quit messing with her hair, and stretched her arms out toward the ceiling. Still she hadn't caught onto what Ravyn was fishing at.

Ravyn weakly smiled nervously. “That’s not what I meant Evy.” She said blushing bright red. She crossed her legs underneath her looking up at Evy, still blushing. “I..really..like you.” She said, biting on her lip. Why did this have to be so hard. It wasn’t fair really. She hadn’t been this nervous in years.

Evangeline's expression slowly turned into a blank slate, and her eyes went wide in shock. Can this be happening? Is this all just a big dream and I'm going to wake up any minute to see this is all just fantasy? she thought to herself. Not thinking about what she was doing, Evy pinched herself on the arm. "Ow." she muttered under her breath. Well, that clears it up. This isn't a dream. Her dark sage orbs looked down for a moment, and then back up to Ravyn with a bright smile. "I feel the same way about you, RJ." she spoke sweetly. "For the longest time I have." Bashfully, Evy pushed back some of her hair behind her ears. Tiliting her head down, her gaze went to the her lap where her hands now rested lifelessly.
