Ravyn walked through the empty forest in her dog form, knowing the lake was close by. She needed to relax, an taking a swim just might do it. She took a deep breath and started running, she saw the glistering surface of the lake come into view and as she got closer changed back. The sun was shining brightly whish made it even better.
She looked around for a few seconds, searching for another person. As she saw nobody was nearby she slowly took off her top and jeans, leaving her in her bikini. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the warmth of the sun on her skin before slowly walking towards the water. She felt the cold touch of the water and a shiver went through her entire body. The weather might have been warm but the water felt ice cold.
She lay in the water for a while, feeling her muscles relax. She had been right, this was exactly what she had needed. She looked around again, this time though there was someone there. She grinned she saw who it was. “Hi !” She yelled, she made her way to the surface again. |

Evangeline just wanted to get away from her home. Her parents were getting on her nerves yet again. Her father was drinking heavily and her mother was snorting so many drugs that Evangeline had lost count. Slamming the front door behind her with a huff, she debated with herself on where to go. I could just go walking down the road.. Or I can go to the lake. I think a swim could do some good. At least dipping my feet into the water would be nice. She loved to swim, and most of the time you could find Evy there.
It didn't take her long to get there, especially not in her natural fairy form. With her beautiful silver wings, it helped to travel faster than by foot. Once at the lake, she shifted back to human size while no one was looking. Not that there was anyone to worry about. Oddly enough, the lake was dead. No one was already, and Evy found that highly odd, but didn't think twice about it. Smoothing out her mint green and chocolate brown checkered button-up top, she fixed her matching brown skirt for it had become crooked.
She casually ran a hand back through her dark brown hair, and Evangeline let her eyes scan the lake. They stopped on a figure in the water. Is that a person? she thought, and walked closer. The nearer she got, the more a human shape coudl be made out. Eventually, the shape became the familiar body of Ravyn Alebaster. Evy smiled, and immediately her stomach started to fill with butterflies. "Hey!" she replied back when she noticed that Ravyn caught on to her. "You look like you're having fun there, yeah?"

Ravyn grinned walking closer to Evangeline. She couldn’t help the feeling that filled her entire body. “You bet ya.” She said grinning, looking her over. “Want to join me.” She raised one eyebrow splashing some water towards her. She chuckled moving a hand through her hair.
She held her head to the side, “How are you ?” She asked sincerely. She knew about Evangeline’s parents and was quite worried about her. She’d already want to ask her to perhaps move away from there. But she wasn’t sure about how Evy would react to that. Wouldn’t it seem .. weird ? She sat down on the rocks, crossing her legs underneath her. |

Evy giggled, and froze for a short second when water was splashed her way. "Hey now.." she said, and smiled even brighter. "I don't have a swim suit with me." And why do they call her a fairy? Wait... she thought, and then shook her head. "Why do I even call myself a fairy?" she question aloud to no one in particular. With a quick wringle of her right pointer finger, she magically changed clothes. From the outfit she had on previously, she was now in a dark mocha one-piece swimsuit. "There, that's much better." she stated, and tied her hair up into a ponytail.
Evy jumped into the cold water, and came back up to the water top. "Wow! It's freezing in here!" she said, and looked over at Ravyn. "Eh, I'm alright. Parents are annoying me again. That's why I'm here now. What about you?"

Ravyn laughed with Evy as she giggled. It was beautiful really. She looked dazed as Evy changed her clothes, seconds after she told herself to snap out of it and smiled. She must have seemed like an idiot really. “Nice.” She said looking Evy over again. She had to admit, Evy was beautiful, she really was.
“I know right.” She said as Evy commented on the temperature of the water. She got up and made her way into the water again, her day had just gotten a lot better. She always felt great when she was around Evy. She felt, complete in some way. “I’m good now.” She said smiling, “But really, are you okay ? Can I do anything ?” She asked, a bit worried about her. She really would do anything for her, she just had to ask. |

"Thanks." Evy commented to Ravyn's compliment, a light flush lighting up on her naturally rosy cheeks. "You don't look bad yourself." Equally, Ravyn was beautiful. Way more than just some catch any girl or guy could have. Something speical, hard to come by in a lifetime. She playfully winked at Ravyn, and the dove under yet again.
She came up in time to see that Ravyn had gotten back into the water, and this fact made Evy smile wider than before. "What made you decide to come swimming?" she asked out of curiosity. Evy moved so she was floating on her back, and she sighed as the subject was turned back to her parents. Though it was easy to talk to Ravyn about it, it was still a subject that Evy rather not talk about. And that was surely clear, but it was either talk about it now or bottle it up for a later explosion. "I'm ok, not happy with them. I mean, dad hasn't laid a hand on me recently and mom is the same. She just doesn't care what I do, where I go. All that." she continued to say.
Anything you can do? Of course there is, just be there for me. Evy thought to herself. Moving yet again, she now swam over to Ravyn. She smiled small, and sighed once again, too. "Save me?" she asked with pleading eyes.

Ravyn grinned as she watched Evy blush. It looked really cute on her, she looked innocent. “Thank you.” She said as Evy complemented her, now it was her time to blush. She looked down letting her hair fall infront of her face to hide it a bit. Her grin grew wider as Evy winked at her, she relaxed, letting herself float on the water.
“I needed to relax, and it’s working too.” She said. She took a deep breath holding her head to the side yet again. She noticed Evy looked kind of uncomfortable with the subject of her parents, she felt kind of guilty for bringing it up. She nodded, “I’m sorry.” She said, she watched Evy swim over to her and didn’t move, just looking at her.
She nodded at Evy’s words, “Come stay with me.” She blurred out. She blushed bright red the minute the words left her lips. “I mean, it would be safer you know..” She said quickly, hoping it wouldn’t sound too bad. |

It was a shame that Ravyn hid her face when she blushed, for it was adorable on her too. "Don't hide." Evy found herself muttering under her breath because she didn't want to sound stupid saying it aloud. "I can tell it's working." she replied, and exhaled a strong breath. "It's working for me too." the words flowed out, and Evy nodded her head. A frown passed over her rosy lips, and Evy shook her head. "It's ok. I'd rather talk about it with you than bottle it up, you know?" The next thing she heard from Ravyn was her blurting out for her to come stay at Ravyn's place. Inside Evy was laughing because it was sort of funny how it was put, but she loved the statement all the same. There was nothing more that Evy wanted than to be around Ravyn more than she already was. "Are you sure you'd want me to?" Evy asked her. She didn't want to burden Ravyn, that would make Evangeline feel bad.

Ravyn smiled, “Good.” She said as Evy said it was working on her too. “Good, that you don’t bottle it up I mean, know I’m always here to talk if you need me.” She said, she really would always be here for her.
“Of course, I’d love you too.” Ravyn said, as Evy asked her if she’d really want her to. “Just say the word and well go pack your bags right now, I mean it.” She said smiling. She really was serious. Ravyn wouldn’t love anything more than to be around Evy more, she loved the girl, although she hadn’t told her.
Mostly because she didn’t know how she would react. She looked up at the sky as the sun disappeared for a minute or 2. “So what do you think ? Shall we go pack your stuff ?” She would feel a lot more sure too, she felt worried a lot, wondering if nothing had happed to Evy, her dad wasn’t really known for his patience. But if Evy’s dad would lie another finger on her Ravyn would kill him herself. Nobody was going to hurt Evy again, ever again. |

"I'm glad to have you around, RJ." Evy spoke sweetly, and ran a hand over her now dry (again) hair. "Know that I'm here to talk to as well. You'll always have me." she said. Evy then froze, had she said that wrong? Oh crap. she thought, and tried laughing it off, but that wasn't working either. She hadn't told Ravyn about her feels either, but it was obvious that each other was attracted to the other. Just to what extent the relationship could go to, that was unknown. "I've love to get away from my parents but..." she said, and then there was a long silence. Evy snort-laughed, and quickly said, "Of course I'll come stay you!"
She tackled Ravyn from behind in a hug, and giggled. "We'll have to sneak past the 'rents. If my father finds out what I'm doing.. He'll kill me for sure." she said. That thought dampened the mood, but Evy tried to hide it. "Rawr, fuck him. Like he cares, right?"

Ravyn froze as she heard the words escape Evy’s lips, you’ll always have me, she felt a shiver go down her body. She couldn’t have possibly meant what Ravyn had thought she meant. Nah, that would just be too good to be true, it wasn’t possible. She felt a huge grin come over her face as Evy agreed.
She let out a yelp as Evy tackled her, she let out a hiss at Evy’s last words. “If he lays only one finger on you, I swear I will kill him.” She said, her eyes darkening. She was serious about this, she would kill him without a second thought.
“I’m sorry.” She quickly said, that probably hadn’t come out right, how would Evy react to those words. She took a deep breath and wrapped an arm around Evy’s shoulder, “Don’t worry, we’ll get your stuff out of there safely.” |

"RJ..." Evy said, and frowned. Her eyes looked down to the water, she could cry. "I know you mean well, but I'm afraid that he would hurt you instead of the other way around as you say. He's more powerful than you think. Even for a mere sparrow-man as us fairies call our men." She looked up as she felt Ravyn's arm around her shoulder. Oi! she thought, thinking that perhaps she would have gotten a hug back at least. Not just a simple arm over the shoulders thing, like actual friends do. Not saying they weren't friends or anything, but Evangeline really did want more than just that. "So when do you want to go help me get my stuff?"

“I’m sure I can take him really.” Ravyn said, a small smile on her lips. “You’ve seen me in my other form, I’ll have him cornered in no time.” She took a deep breath and looked down, wanting to change the subject. She didn’t want to argue with her about this, because there was nothing to argue about really.
“Of course.” She said quickly, “I’m sure as hell not letting you go over there all by yourself, who knows how your parents will react when they see you packing your stuff.” She paused unsure before placing a hand on Evy’s cheek looking her deeply in the eyes. “I’m not risking anything happening to you.” She said. She didn’t move for a few seconds and than stepped back. She wondered what Evy was thinking now, it was hard for Ravyn, she loved the girl, but couldn’t really show it. Sometimes it was hard to hold back. Did that sound ridiculous ? |

"Fierce, but so cuddily and adorable." Evangeline said and blushed. I can't believe I just said that, but it's true! she spoke silently to herself. She nervously laughed and pulled away at the same time that Ravyn pulled away. "I wasn't going to go if you didn't come with me anyways." she said, sticking out her tongue at her fellow companion. Evangeline smiled, and batted her eyelashes for a quick second. "That's really sweet of you RJ, thanks." she spoke, flattered at her friend's statement. "C'mon then, yeah?" Swiftly, Evy moved from the water,and magically dried herself and she became dressed in her outfit she had on earlier.

Ravyn chuckled at Evy’s statement. “Cuddly and adorable huh ?” She said grinning, “Have to remember that one.” She added. She felt herself staring at Evangeline yet again as she stuck out her tongue and batted her eyelashes. She forced herself to focus and followed her out of the water. “I could use some drying over here”. She said smirking. That magic stuff did come in handy.
She picked up her clothes and started putting them on again, “You lead the way.” She said smiling, changing into her dog form. She wasn’t very big, she looked like a Newfoundlander, with brown fur.
