Ravyn simply nodded, just not having the power to argue with Evy. Her breathing was becoming a bit heavier and she had to do everything in her power to not lose consciousness. She heard a clicking sound and looked up just in time to see Evy’s father drop the gun to the floor. She was surprised as Evy threatened her father and shot him, not that he didn’t deserve it, he deserved a hell of a lot worse than that for everything he’d done to Evy. Ravyn simply nodded as Evy told her it may hurt a little, she couldn’t really imagine it hurting more than it did now. It could though, it really could. A small cry escaped her lip as Evy pulled the knife out. Tears ran down her face but she tried to hold them back, gritting her teeth together, she had to be strong. She was failing miserably though, as the tears kept running down her face.
She suddenly felt a warm feeling in the place the wound was, seeing Evy’s hands hovering over the wound some sort of glow coming out of them. She closed her eyes, it couldn’t hurt to close them for just a few seconds. The wound ever so slowly started closing. Ravyn wouldn’t have realised though, having lost consciousness a few seconds after she had closed her eyes. |

Things from that point flew by in a flash. The next thing Evy knew she was sitting beside Ravyn in the hospital. She'd been able to heal most of the wound, but Ravyn had still needed to go to the emergency room. As for Evangeline's father; Evy called the cops on him and explained everything that had happened, but said she'd shot him in self-defense. Currently he was locked in the medical ward of the Berlin jailhouse.
Resting her head in her arms on the side of Ravyn's hospital bed, Evy kept going in and out of sleep. She sighed, and blinked her eyes a few times. She wanted to rest, but she had to stay away in case Ravyn came to. When she'd passed out, Evy could do nothing by watch her for hours on end. Even the slightest movement that RJ made would make Evy jump. "Please, RJ. Wake up?" Evy whispered softly, and small stream of tears forming in her eyes then proceeded to run down her cheeks.

Ravyn slowly woke up, she opened her eyes and looked around disoriented. What was she doing here ? Her eyes rested on Evangeline, who was sitting next to her. “Evy ?” She whispered. She tried to sit up and winced letting out a small whimper at the sudden pain going through her. So, sitting up hadn’t been the brightest idea. “What happened ?” She said frowning. She remembered Evy shooting her dad in the knee, pulling out the knife and this warm feeling.
She bit her lips worried, where was Evy’s dad now ? Had he been able to escape ? If so they had to get out of here as soon as possible. “How long was I out ?” She muttered. She noticed Evy was crying and frowned, holding out her hand to wipe them away. “Don’t cry..” She whispered shaking her head, she didn’t like to see Evy sad, she promised herself that she would do everything in her power not to let Evy ever cry again.
She looked Evy over to see if her dad had done anything more. She looked okay, Ravyn sighed relieved. She wouldn’t be able to forgive herself if anything had happened to her. She would throw herself infront of Evy, catching a million knifes if she had too, as long as Evy was okay, she would be too. |

Evy perked her sleepy head from her arms, looking at Ravyn. Could she really be up? Evy smiled, "Hey." Her voice was weak, and it was obvious that Evangeline was tired. "Don't move, I'm sure your still in great pain." Evy stood up from where she sat, and let out a soft sigh. "Well, you fainted while I was trying to heal you from my father's attack." she informed her, and another sigh left her rosy lips. She didn't want to remember anything from that day, nothing. Except every cherished moment she had with Ravyn, but the events with her father... He could rot away in his jail cell for all Evy cared.
"Awhile." Evy said, looking at the clock on the wall. "All night, and now it's afternoon." Taking a sit back down in the chair next to the hospital bed, Evy took a light hold of Ravyn's hand. Sniffling, Evy held back anymore tears she had ready to fall. "Are you feeling any better?" she asked her girlfriend. Hopefully, within the next few days or even sometime that day they would be able to get out of there, go home. "If you're wondering what happened to my father, you need not worry about it. He's gone and where he belongs."

Ravyn nodded at Evy’s comment, she wouldn’t move, well, she wouldn’t make any sudden movements. She hoped the wound would be healed soon but knew it probably wouldn’t. It would take a few weeks, maybe more. She nodded as Evy told her she had been unconscious all night, it must have been pretty bad if she was out for so long. “I’m okay, don’t worry about me.” She said, smiling reassuringly. “Good.” She said, Evy’s dad deserved worse, much worse. Ravyn would tear him to pieces if she ever saw him again.
She sat upright gritting her teeth together, trying to ignore the pain. “When can we go ?” She asked anxious. She had never liked hospitals, there was just something about them that made Ravyn anxious. She still held on to Evangeline’s hand not wanting to let go. She had been scared she would loose her earlier today. She had never felt like that about anyone in her entire life. |

"How can I not worry about you?" Evy muttered, and lightly sighed yet again. Evy lightly and pathetically laughed when Ravyn commented about her father. Evy had the same thoughts exactly, but still, she couldn't believe what she'd done to him. Nevermind though, the bastard had deserved it. What was he thinking? Trying to attack someone with a knife? Of course he was looking to be thrown into prison. Evy cursed RJ for being stubborn with moving, but helped her sit up. "That doctor hasn't said anything to me." she said, and frowned. "I told them I was your sister, though they didn't believe me at first because of the hair color. I told them you dyed your hair a lot." She lightly laughed, "They really haven't told me much." Evy didn't like hospitals either, they smelt of death and cleaning supplies. However, she would tolerate it for Ravyn.

“You really shouldn’t.” Ravyn said, “I’ll be perfectly fine.” She said. She sighed as Evy said the doctor hadn’t said anything. She would get out of here today, no matter what the doctors said really. They couldn’t force her to stay here. She smiled as she heard Evy laugh and couldn’t help but let a small laugh escape her own lips. She quickly tried to stop it though since it hurt like hell. She sighed and tried to stand up. “Why don’t we go find a doctor then.” She said weakly smiling, hiding the pain. Although she knew with her acting skills she was probably failing terribly. |

"Yes, but.. RJ, it's my fault you were hurt." she said, and her gaze dropped. It was, if her father wasn't so pissed off at her, then RJ wouldn't have gotten hurt. Of course, she did remember RJ dodging in front of her, but Mr. Wilson wouldn't have been out after either of them if Evy hadn't disobeyed him. However, she didn't regret it. She loved Ravyn, wanted to be with her. Plus she really needed to get away from her parents. "You stay here, and I'll go drag one in here to you." Evy said, making RJ sit back down on the bed.

“No it’s not Evy.” Ravyn said taking a deep breath, she squeezed Evy’s hand smiling, “It was my choice to jump in front of you and I would do it again in a heartbeat.” She said. “I love you Evy, please don’t beat yourself up about this.” She said. She sighed as Evy pushed her down and nodded. “Okay.” She replied frowning. “But I will get out of here today, no matter what they say.”She knew she was probably acting stupid and way too stubborn for her own good but she really wanted to go. |

"You can't keep doing that, RJ. I can't risk loosing you if you jump in front of me. I know what my father is like, and hopefully he's gone completely so we dont' have to worry about him anymore, but... Please, I need to keep you safe, and I know you were trying to do the same for me." she said, and then took a second to take in a deep breath. "But if I get hurt, then I made a mistake in letting him get me. Or anyone for that matter. It just.. happens. As long as I don't die, I'll be fine."
Evy smiled small, and nodded her head. "And how do you plan on getting out of here without the doctor's approval?" she asked cheekily.

“Evy, I’m not letting anything happen to you.” Ravyn said frowning, “It won’t just happen, I won’t let it happen.” She said determent. “You won’t loose me, look at me now, I’m perfectly fine.” She said. She placed Evy’s hand on her cheek, “I’m still here, I’ll be here always, as long as you want me, I swear.” She smiled. “You can’t get rid of me that easily.” She said winking.
Ravyn bit her lip trying to come up with something good. “I’ll think of something. I could always just shape shift.” She said, “I wonder what that would be like..with the..” She trailed of looking interested. “Mind if I try ?” She asked holding her head to the side. |

"I never want to get rid of you." she said, and smiled. "I love you too much." Evy listened to all that Ravyn had to say, and just nodded her head when it was the right time too. "Umm, sure. Just don't hurt yourself." she said, and turned her head to make sure no one was looking. It wasn't a magical hospital, it was a average mortal hospital, therefore they could get into trouble for using their powers here.

Ravyn smiled and leaned forward giving Evy a quick kiss on the lips. “I love you too.” She said. She nodded, “I won’t, just want to know what it would be like.” She took a deep breath and closed her eyes preparing to change. The usual tingling sensation went through her body and she felt herself change. Seconds later a dog was sitting in her place. She jumped off the bed and let out a small whimper. She moved her head to look at the wound, since it was fully exposed now. Her clothes always changed with her, so that would mean bandages too.
She whimpered again as she examined the wound. It looked bad, she frowned, or well something like that and looked up at Evy, could she see the wound too ? She started changing back. She quickly tried to hide the pain of her face but was failing terribly , just like always. “Remind me not to do that again in the next few weeks.” She said taking a deep breath. |

Evy smiled against Ravyn's lips before pulling back to watch her shift, keeping her ears open in case she heard anyone coming. Shifting seemed to not have phased her, but her jump from the bed made Evy gasp loudly. "RJ!" she cursed softly under her breath, if anyone had heard a dog in the hospital, they were toast. Her eyes went to watching out the hospital room door while Ravyn changed back into her human form. "Oh trust me, when we get home. You're going to be bed-ridden." she informed her.
((this is bad when you take what you've put the wrong way.. lol "bed-ridden" haha? sorry, my mind is where it's not supposed to be.))

Ravyn grinned and carefully walked back towards the bed, sitting down. “Bed-ridden he ?” She asked, a laugh escaping her lips. She winced but just kept laughing, she had to work on her act anyway. She knew it wasn’t what Evy had meant, but still, Ravyn wouldn’t be complaining. “So, let’s get a doctor, so we can get out of this place.” She said winking at her. “I’m afraid you’re not going anywhere miss Alebaster.” A doctor said walking inside. “Ah doc, we were just coming to get you.” She frowned and sighed, “Aw come on doc, I’m perfectly fine.” She said pleadingly. The doctor shook his head and looked at Evy for a second. “I’m sorry miss.” He said turning his attention back to Ravyn, “You’ll have to stay here for at least 1 more day.” He looked at her shard and shook his head, “Make that 2.” oc - xD |
